Greetings Dear Ones, “If you want things to be different, perhaps the answer is to become different yourself" Norman Vincent Peale Change has always been fraught with fear, particularly large or dramatic changes, for it leaves us feeling out of control and unprepared to deal with what may come in the future. Oftentimes the compulsion to make a change is based on the unbearable present. The other impetus for change is clearly envisioning where you want to be and doing whatever it takes to get there. This is true whether that be personal changes or the more dramatic social changes through revolutions, a coup or diplomatic hand off. In the case of our own US history it seems it was a combination of an intolerable oppressive state and a group of truly visionary men who were able to visualize and create a system ‘open at the top’ for growth and expansion while anchoring into law certain inalienable rights. Giving all of us ‘choices’ in how we live our lives, do business and pursue happiness. But it wasn’t until they ‘declared’ their independence from a confining, constricting, limiting structure that choices of how to design and construct a new way could emerge. What will you declare your independence from? What will you envisage for your future? We on the other hand are surrounded and assisted by the energetics and guidance flooding our planet, our bodies and our spirit moment to moment should we choose to tune in listen and feel them. We have constant access to information through the ‘imagination highway’, the internet, teachers and the experiences of others further along the path. Yet, for any transformation to occur we must first assume responsibility, see our own part in the situations and relationships in our lives.
